Dr. Pieter-Jan Vandekerckhove
Dokter Pieter-Jan Vandekerckhove is sinds 15 juli 2014 staflid van de dienst Orthopedie en Traumatologie (Orthoclinic) van het AZ Sint-Jan en AZ Sint-Lucas te Brugge met als subspecialisatie kniechirurgie (sport-traumatologie en arthroplastie).
Na zijn opleiding geneeskunde en een permanente vorming Sportgeneeskunde (1999-2006) aan de Universiteit van Gent, heeft hij in 2006 de specialisatie in de orthopedische chirurgie en traumatologie aangevat onder leiding van Professor René Verdonk. Sinds 2012 is hij erkend als specialist in de orthopedische chirurgie en traumatologie.
